Israel tennis champ wins Nottingham Open

Dudi Sela, Israel’s top-ranked men’s single’s tennis player, won the ATP Aegon Challenger Nottingham Open in Britian on Sunday afternoon.
The 32-year-old, who is currently ranked number 98 in the world defeated Italian Thomas Fabbiano, ranked 101, in three sets on center court.
Sela dropped the first set 4-6 in the ATP Challenger Tour match but won the next two, 6-4 and 6-3.
Sela will move on from here to prepare for London’s Wimbledon Championships which begins on July 3. Sela will have to get through three qualifying rounds to make it into the Grand Slam, though due to his ranking, if two players withdraw from the tournament, he will qualify automatically.
This win marks the 22nd Challenger title of Sela’s career.
