Deri: Tax on public transportion to be phased out
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEconomy Minister Aryeh Deri says VAT on public transportation in Israel will be reduced by 50 percent in the coming year, and then removed altogether, Israel Radio reports.
Speaking at a conference run by Israeli business newspaper Calcalist, Deri also says that weaker sectors of society will get a reduction in electricity and water prices.
