Hamas hails Malaysia for dropping FIFA summit over Israeli participation
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHamas praises Malaysia for refusing to host the FIFA Congress next year as it does not want to issue visas to Israelis or display the Israeli flag.
A statement from the terror group expresses “great appreciation” to Malaysia, hailing the country’s refusal “to engage in the policy of normalization” with Israel.
“Hamas considers this a courageous stance that is welcomed by all Palestinians, who wish Malaysia goodness and prosperity,” the statement says.
