Hollande: Fight in Syria should only be against terrorism
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleHollande calls the incident “serious,” and calls to prevent an escalation.
He says the only thing they should be doing is fighting terrorism and the Islamic State.
The president says he will tell Putin that the strikes must be “against Daesh, against terrorism, and those that are threatening us, they are threatening Russia.”
He adds that the French warship in the region is sharing intelligence with the Russians.
