IBA workers interrupt news to plead for their jobs
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEmployees of the Israel Broadcasting Authority briefly interrupt Channel 1’s flagship news program to protest the imminent closure of the ailing broadcaster, set to be replaced by a new state-run media conglomerate.
A group of five workers interrupted the “Mabat” show to make personal pleas to Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to save their jobs.
The five say they speak on behalf of 1,000 IBA workers
