Iraq says it is closing its airspace as Iran launches attack on Israel

Iraq announces that it is closing its airspace and suspending all air traffic after Iran launched a drone attack on Israel.

“Iraq’s airspace has been closed and air traffic has been halted,” Transport Minister Razzak al-Saadawi tells state news agency INA. The Civil Aviation Authority says the closure will last from 11:30 pm (2030 GMT) until 5:30 am (0230 GMT).
