Israel unimpressed by Obama’s ‘less than 50-50’ remark
A senior official at the Prime Minister’s Office dismisses US media reports from yesterday that quoted US President Barack Obama as assessing the odds of an Iran deal at “less than 50-50.”
“We are unimpressed by reports that the odds of reaching a deal in Vienna are low. The nearly complete collapse of the P5+1’s positions in the interim agreement, in the Lausanne framework and in the current talks, almost guarantees that the sides will reach a deal and that the world will face a nuclear-armed terrorist state, which will receive a cash bonanza of hundreds of billions of dollars to fund its aggression and terror,” the source says.
