Mastermind of Paris attacks said killed in yesterday’s police raid
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe body of the suspected mastermind of the Paris attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud, has been identified among those killed in a police raid in a Paris suburb on Wednesday, the Paris prosecutor says.
“Abdel Hamid Abaaoud has just been formally identified, after comparing fingerprints, as having been killed during the (police) raid,” the prosecutor says in a statement.
Abaaoud, 28, is accused of orchestrating Friday’s bombings and shootings.
“It was the body we had discovered in the building, riddled with bullets.”
