Ministry: 556 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Health Ministry announces that the number of coronavirus cases is up to 14,498, marking 556 new cases in the last 24 hours and continuing a worrying upward trend after numbers appeared to have stabilized at around 250 case a day.
The death toll is up to 189.
The ministry says 141 people are in serious condition, including 106 on ventilators, showing no large jump in the number of serious cases.
