From Netanyahu, Gamzu meeting to chew the fat on possible lockdown
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is holding video consultations with coronavirus czar Ronni Gamzu and other senior health officials to speak about the possibility of a nationwide lockdown, according to Hebrew media reports.
A meeting with ministers to discuss the issue is slated for Thursday.
According to Haaretz, ministers believe that Netanyahu has already made up his mind about imposing a new lockdown over the holiday period, and will only be seeking their stamp of approval.
