Palestinians protest arrival of US delegation in Ramallah
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDozens of Palestinians in Ramallah are protesting the visit by a high-level delegation of US officials to the West Bank city later today.
Protesters decried US President Donald Trump, with some chanting that his son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, “the dog that serves Tel Aviv” was “not welcome” in the Palestinian city.
Palestinian officials quoted in Hebrew and Arabic media have accused Kushner of taking Israel’s side on Mideast peace process issues, including PA payments to convicted terrorists, which Ramallah has refused to halt.
