Police at highest level of alert in Jerusalem

Heads of local councils in the West Bank were instructed to raise the level of alert in their communities over the weekend and in coming days.
Residents were told to avoid trips outside the communities and to coordinate with local security officers any incident of allowing Palestinian construction workers to enter the communities.
Interim police chief Comm. Bentzi Sau has instructed police to conduct ongoing assessments in all regions. Police officers will be present in larger numbers along central roads and in flashpoint cities.
In Jerusalem, police is at its highest level of alert.
