Probe shows several soldiers fired at attacking driver — TV report
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleChannel 2 News reports than an initial army investigation into the killing of the driver who rammed into a group of soldiers Sunday shows that seven people shot at the terrorist, including five cadets and an officer.
The investigations comes after a video seemed to show armed soldiers fleeing the scene rather than shooting at the rampaging driver, as he attempted to mow down the troops a second time.
Channel 10 reports that officer Eyal Koren says he stood opposite the front of the cab and shot at the driver through the windshield.
He says there were several soldiers next to him and he told them to hold their fire.
