Russia says UN needs to prove Syrian chemical attack
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleRussian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov says at a press conference that Russia and the United States believe a United Nations probe into Syria chemical attack is necessary.
Earlier today, Russian media reported that Moscow planned to veto the current draft of a UN resolution to launch such an investigation, but this new statement may indicate that Russia would accept a revised version.
