Three men in critical condition following separate drowning incidents, medics say

Three men are in critical condition following separate drowning incidents since this morning, according to medics.

A 64-year-old man was pulled out of the water this morning at the northern Neve Yam beach unconscious, not breathing and without a heartbeat, the Magen David Adom ambulance service says. He was taken to the Rambam hospital in Haifa.

A 71-year-old was also rushed to the Laniado hospital in central Israel’s Netanya, unconscious and in critical condition, after drowning off the city’s Blue Bay coast, MDA says.

Less than an hour later, a roughly 40-year-old man was pulled out of the water in Herzliya, just south of Netanya, according to MDA. Medics on the beach were trying to resuscitate him, the ambulance service says.
