Trump says Europe needs to pay more for NATO
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTrump talks up his insistence that European countries pony up their share for NATO, drawing weak applause.
He says billions have poured in because of his drive to get the countries to open their wallets and that people are “shocked.”
“Europe must do more … by investing its money,” he says, applauding Poland for buying the Patriot missile defense system.
