Trump special envoy hails ‘another productive meeting’ with Abbas
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleTrump’s Special Envoy for International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt wraps up what he calls “another productive meeting” with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
According to Greenblatt’s tweet, the two met for a follow-up meeting in the wake of Trump’s visit to the region where he repeatedly emphasized his desire to help broker a peace agreement between Israelis and Palestinians.
Yesterday, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told reporters that Trump “pressured” both Netanyahu and Abbas during his meeting with the two leaders this week to return to the negotiating table.
