Two rockets fired from Gaza at Ashdod, no injuries

Two rockets were launched from the northern Gaza Strip at the southern coastal city of Ashdod a short while ago, the military says.
One rocket was intercepted by air defenses, while the second struck an open area, according to the IDF.

There are no immediate reports of injuries or major damage in the attack, which triggered sirens in Ashdod’s eastern neighborhoods and nearby towns.
Rocket fire from Gaza, especially long-range attacks with multiple projectiles, has been increasingly rare as the war has progressed, with terror group’s launching capabilities hindered by the IDF’s ground offensive.
The last time rockets were fired at Ashdod was on April 6.
