US envoy to Iraq says 6,000 IS men killed
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on Google“More than half” of the leadership of Islamic State were killed in coalition airstrikes, US Ambassador to Iraq Stuart Jones tells Al Arabiya network.
The airstrikes have a “devastating” effect and “have now killed more than 6,000 ISIS fighters in Syria and Iraq,” Jones says.
The US ambassador also tells the network that airstrikes have “destroyed more than a thousand of ISIS vehicles inside Iraq.”
