US Treasury issues fresh Iran sanctions, targeting several aviation firms
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe US Treasury Department imposes a fresh batch of sanctions against Iranian firms, targeting four airlines in particular.
A number of Turkish companies are also among those targeted according to Reuters.
The Treasury Department said in a statement that Iran’s Mahan Air and Meraj Air had ferried weapons, fighters, and cash to proxies in Lebanon and Syria.
