Yair Netanyahu erases tweet against left-wing protesters; PM condemns it
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemns his son’s tweet that apparently wished death by COVID-19 on elderly participants of a demonstration against the premier in Tel Aviv.
Yair Netanyahu has erased the tweet.
His father says he rejects the sentiment entirely.
“In the fight against the coronavirus, there are no camps and there cannot be any,” his office says. “The prime minister is working around the clock to protect the health and lives of all Israeli citizens without exception.”
