Several golf clubs owned by US President Donald Trump feature fake covers of Time Magazine that feature Trump himself with the headline, “Donald Trump: ‘The Apprentice’ is a television smash!” the Washington Post reported Tuesday.
At the very top of the cover are the words in capital letters, “Trump is hitting on all fronts… even TV!”
The framed cover has reportedly been seen at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, as well as at four other Trump golf clubs.
Time magazine has asked for the framed images to be taken down, the report said.
A Time spokesperson, Kerri Chyka, said, “I can confirm that this is not a real Time cover.”

Actress Kate Winslet featured on the real cover of Time magazine on March 1, 2009 — the date that appeared on Trump’s fake.
Time magazine has featured Trump once on its cover before he got into politics — in January 1989.
A Trump spokeswoman, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, refused to comment on the “decor” at the president’s golf clubs.
