Army suspects West Bank torching a ‘price tag’ attack

Army investigates torching of door of home in village of Kafr Ata

Arsonists torched the door to a home in the Palestinian village of Kafr Ata in what the IDF believes may be the work of Jewish right-wing extremists.

There were no reports of injuries in the incident, which happened Monday night near the city of Nablus.

Investigators suspect the attack may have been a “price tag” act, one of the revenge attacks by Jewish right-wing extremists protesting the removal of illegal settlement outposts on the West Bank.

IDF soldiers searched the area but failed to find the perpetrators.
