Dead fetus found in south Tel Aviv dumpster
Police are investigating circumstances of the unborn child’s death, and searching for the mother

A passerby in south Tel Aviv found a dead fetus in a garbage bin on Ben Zvi Boulevard on Friday afternoon.
Magen David Adom paramedics arrived on the scene and pronounced it dead.
Police opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
Investigators suspected that a foreign worker gave birth to the fetus and threw it in the trash before going to Ichilov Hospital for treatment. Police were investigating the possibility that it was the same foreign worker who went to the hospital for treatment shortly before the fetus was found.
