Children’s screams alert neighbors to murder-suicide attempt
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Lod man murdered his wife and then attempted to kill himself on Thursday, stabbing her several times and then shooting himself in the presence of his six-year-old daughter.
The screams of the couple’s daughter reportedly alerted neighbors, who called police. Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived at the scene tried to resuscitate the woman, 42-year-old Snait Achanpe, but to no avail. The man was transferred to Assaf Harofeh Hospital with moderate to serious wounds.
