Beyonce Knowles will bring her current concert tour to Israel on June 15, Channel 2 news reported Sunday evening.
The performance will reportedly be held in Tel Aviv’s Park Haryarkon, an outdoor venue, and it’s still unclear which local production team will be handling the stop in Israel.
The report could not immediately be confirmed, and no such tour stop appeared on Beyonce’s official website.
Last year, Beyonce was reported to be coming to Israel in April 2014, and in 2009 Israeli media falsely reported that the American star was coming in 2010.
The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour is currently in Europe, and Beyonce has been on tour for more than a year. Israel’s only brush with the global star has been through designer Alon Livne, who created Beyonce’s so-called “Freakum Dress,” a cherry-red chiffon-paneled gown named for the song Beyonce sings when she and her dancers wear the garment.
