461 new coronavirus cases, 5 more fatalities since midnight
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Health Ministry says 461 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed so far today, bringing the number of infections since the pandemic began to 317,206.
The death toll rises to 2,597, with five fatalities since midnight.
The number of active cases drops to 9,639, with 364 people in serious condition, including 159 on ventilators. Another 102 are in moderate condition and the rest have mild or no symptoms.
Of the 23,561 tests performed today, 2 percent came back positive.
