Deri ‘can’t see Shas as part of left gov’t’

Shas leader Aryeh Deri says he cannot see his party sitting in a coalition led by a left-wing government.

“I certainly don’t see Shas sitting in a left-wing government, but a narrow right-wing government will also have a difficult time solving social issues,” Deri was quoted by Walla as saying.

“Netanyahu is very different with Shas not in the government with him. He is cruel toward the lower classes, and this is something I don’t want to happen.”
