Government approves quarantining certain areas of Jerusalem

The government has approved dividing Jerusalem into zones and quarantining certain areas with high rates of infections, the Prime Minister’s Office says

Four quarantined areas are marked off, mostly compromising ultra-Orthodox neighborhoods.

In these areas, residents will only be allowed to exit for work or certain other essential needs.

The regulation goes into effect at noon on Sunday.
