Health official says ministry has started administering antibodies test
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Health Ministry’s Professor Sigal Sadetsky, head of public health services, says the ministry began administering its first batch of antibodies tests today — on foreign workers. Speaking to reporters, she says the country’s HMOs are set to begin carrying out antibody tests around the country, adding that residents of Bnei Brak — the country’s hardest-hit city — will soon be given the tests to measure how many have been infected by the virus.
The criteria for who will be eligible for the tests is not immediately clear.
