IDF confirms retaliatory strike on Syria military positions
The IDF confirms it carried out retaliatory strikes on Syrian military targets, hours after a number of mortars from the war-torn country exploded inside Israel, the second such exchange in two days.
In a statement, the army says the strikes hit a two artillery positions and an ammunition truck belonging to the Syrian regime.”
The army said it had also ordered Israelis to keep away from open areas near Quneitra, where internal fighting has been heavy recently.
