Hezbollah fired some 30 rockets from Lebanon at the Galilee Panhandle late last night, the IDF says, after the terror group took responsibility for the barrage just after midnight.
The IDF says that most of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system, though one impacted the northern community of Beit Hillel, and several more landed in open areas.
There were no injuries in the attack.
In response, Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck the launcher used in the attack, in the southern Lebanon town of Marjayoun, along with other Hezbollah infrastructure in the area, the military adds.
The IDF says it also shelled the Odaisseh area with artillery to “remove a threat.”
