Iran releases 440 people arrested during anti-regime protests

Iran has released 440 people arrested during recent anti-regime protests.

“More than 440 people who were arrested in Tehran riots have been released,” Tehran prosecutor Abbas Jafari Dolatabadi tells the Mehr news agency, according to Reuters.

He says most of those held were between 18 and 35 years old and came from families with low incomes.
