Ivgy announces ‘time out’ following sexual harassment claims

Veteran actor Moshe Ivgy announces that he is taking a “time out” in light of accusations he had sexually harassed several women over the past few years.

A police source quoted by Channel 2 news yesterday says it is “only a matter of time” before a criminal investigation is opened against Ivgy after one women came forward and lodged an official complaint against the actor.

According to the report, one or two more women will likely file complaints as well, paving the way for the current unofficial probe to be upgraded to a full-fledged investigation.

Ivgy, one of Israel’s most recognizable stage and screen actors, has rejected the allegations against him, saying he never intended to “deliberately” harm anyone.
