Labor MK Margalit: PM decapitated Ya’alon on live TV
Labor MK Erel Margalit slams the agreement between Netanyahu and Liberman, which will see the Yisrael Beytenu leader replace Moshe Ya’alon as defense minister.
“Netanyahu decapitated the defense minister on live TV, and the gangs have triumphed over democracy,” Margalit says, according to the NRG website.
“This is a day of celebration for extremists, La Familia [a gang of Beitar Jerusalem supporters] and the hilltop youth, and at this rate Elor Azaria [the IDF soldier charged with manslaughter for killing an incapacitated Palestinian attacker] will be appointed deputy defense minister by Bibi.
“Flowers for the Labor Party leadership which brought about this disgrace,” Margalit says.
