From May: Nuclear deal still the best way to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleBritain’s Prime Minister Theresa May says that an internationally brokered accord with Iran remained the best way to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons despite Washington’s withdrawal from the 2015 agreement.
“It remains the best means of preventing Iran developing a nuclear weapon and we are committed to preserving the JCPOA as long as Iran continues to abide by its obligations in full,” May says at a meeting of the UN Security Council chaired by US President Donald Trump.
