Minister to be indicted on corruption charges, subject to hearing

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit informs Welfare Minister Haim Katz (Likud) that he plans to indict him on corruption charges pending a hearing on the manner.

In February, police recommended Katz be charged for bribery, fraud, and breach of trust while serving as the head of IAI’s workers’ union for the two decades leading up to his becoming a Likud minister in 2015.
