Netanyahu to ministers: I offered Liberman the defense portfolio
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleNetanyahu tells his cabinet that he is offering Liberman the Defense Ministry as part of efforts to bring Yisrael Beytenu into the government, Haaretz reports.
The paper also says that Netanyahu’s meeting with Ya’alon, held before the PM’s talks this afternoon with Liberman, was a “professional consultation” that did not include any discussion on removing Ya’alon as defense minister.
