Opposition MK warns death penalty bill will ‘turn terrorists into heroes’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn opposition lawmaker warns the legislation that would allow judges to impose the death penalty on convicted terrorists will only serve to glorify the assailants.
“The death penalty is not a deterrent. It will only turn terrorists into heroes,” Zionist Union’s Nachman Shai says following the vote.
