PA asks EU to push Israel on withheld taxes

Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Rami Hamdalla meets with the European Union’s envoy to the PA and demands that the bloc apply pressure on Israel to release Palestinian tax monies, which have been held back for the past two months.

Israel stopped transferring tax money it collects on behalf of the Palestinian after the PA turned to the International Criminal Court at the Hague. The frozen funds, Ynet reports, amount to $200 million.
