Ron Dermer: Support for Israel in Congress remains high, bipartisan
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleWASHINGTON – A day after briefing a select group of senators on the ongoing rocket attacks and the Israeli Air Force’s operation in Gaza, Israel’s Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer met Friday morning with members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee to deliver a similar briefing.
Following the meeting, Dermer said that he found broad-based bipartisan support for Israel’s efforts to defend itself against continued rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.
