Russian ambassador assailant shouted ‘Revenge for Aleppo’

Witnesses say that the assailant who shot and wounded Russia’s ambassador in Turkey shouted, “Revenge for Aleppo,” before the attack.

Turkish media says gunfire continued in the art gallery for several minutes after the initial assault, but has now stopped.
