Sa’ar says Israel ‘will not agree to establishment of Palestinian terror state’

With the United Nations Security Council set to vote tomorrow on a resolution endorsing US President Donald Trump’s comprehensive Gaza ceasefire plan, which also envisions a potential pathway to a Palestinian state, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar stresses that Israel will not allow such an entity to be created.

“Israel will not agree to the establishment of a Palestinian terror state in the heart of the Land of Israel, at a negligible distance from all its population centers and with topographical control over them,” he writes on X.

The resolution would deliver Gaza to an International Stabilization Force (ISF) and an apolitical Palestinian administration overseen by a Trump-chaired Board of Peace.
