Study: 98% of young Ethiopian Israelis report experiencing racism
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn annual report by the Elem organization for youth in distress finds that 98 percent of young Israelis of Ethiopian extraction say they experienced racism and discrimination.
The report is presented to President Reuven Riuvlin, who expresses concern at its findings.
“The report is primarily a mirror to Israeli society. To show what the situation is. A society that does not care for its helpless does not deserve to be called a society,” Rivlin says.
