Police nab truck driver who says he didn’t notice he’d hit anybody
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe police arrested on Friday a truck driver suspected of killing a 67-year-old cyclist after running over him with his vehicle.
The accident took place in the city of Rishon Lezion and officers found the truck abandoned a short distance away from the scene of the crash.
Upon his arrest, the driver, who returned to the scene, said he hadn’t felt that he’d hit anybody, but offered no explanation as to why he left his truck behind.
