‘Gay’ revenge for Mormon conversions

After controversy over reports that the Mormon Church has conducted posthumous conversions of Holocaust victims, a new website allows users to turn dead Mormons ‘gay for eternity’

The Mormon Church has caused outrage in recent days with reports that it posthumously converted Anne Frank and the parents of Simon Wiesenthal, despite claims that it had taken steps to stop conversions of Holocaust victims.

Rather than getting mad, you can now get even, thanks to a new website that promises to turn dead Mormons into something the Church abhors: gay.

At the straightforwardly titled AllDeadMormonsAreNowGay.com, visitors can enter the name of a deceased Mormon, then press a button labeled “Convert!” After that, a message pops up that cheerfully announces, “Converted! That’s all there is too it!”

The site makes reference to the Church’s anti-gay teachings, which may have played a pivotal role in banning gay marriage (at least temporarily) in California.

The site shows more sensitivity toward murdered Jews than the Church, noting under an asterisk at the bottom of the screen, “Holocaust victims are not eligible for conversion.”
