An Israeli car was apparently hit by bullets north of Jerusalem Friday afternoon, causing damage to the vehicle but no injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was heading south on Route 437 from the West Bank into Jerusalem, near the Adam Junction, when he said he heard gunshots, Channel 2 reported.
After arriving at his destination, he discerned what appeared to be bullet marks on the car.
The incident was under investigation by the Israel Defense Forces.
In an unrelated incident in East Jerusalem, a 29-year-old man was moderately injured in a stabbing in the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood.
Magen David Adom paramedics treated the victim and brought him to Hadassah Hospital in Ein Karem.
Police suspect the incident was criminal in nature.
