Israeli in his 30s killed in West Bank car crash

Route 505 between Ariel and Tapuah Junction closed following collision between car and truck

An Israeli man in his 30s was killed Tuesday morning in a car accident near Tapuah Junction in the northern West Bank.

The man’s car crashed headlong into an oncoming truck. He was critically wounded in the collision.

He succumbed to his wounds while Magen David Adom rescue service medics attempted to resuscitate him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Route 505 between Tapuach Junction and the city of Ariel was closed for a period due to the crash.

Police asked that drivers use other roads.
