After Islamic Jihad declares ceasefire, official says actions will determine Israeli response
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn Israeli security official says Israel has received “messages from various ranks within the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization regarding a desire for an immediate ceasefire.”
The official, who speaks anonymously, says Israel is “skeptical” of these claims by the Islamic Jihad and will only believe actions, not words.
“The IDF will continue to act until quiet is restored to the south,” the official says.
