Hamas says won’t be deterred by US placing leader on terror list

Hamas says it won’t be deterred by the US placing its leader Ismail Haniyeh on a global terror list.

“It’s a failed attempt to put pressure on the resistance,” Hamas says. “This step won’t deter us from continuing on our path and striving to expel the occupation.”

Haniyeh is now on the US Treasury sanctions blacklist, which freezes any US-based assets he may have and bans any US person or company from doing business with him.
